Eight Mile Plains – Smart Courtyard Pool Design

Project Overview

Designed as part of a new home build by Happy Haus, this custom concrete pool demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform even the most space-restricted backyard into a beautiful and functional outdoor retreat.

With both stormwater and sewer easements crossing the rear and side boundaries, careful planning was essential to maximise every square metre of available space. The result is a compact courtyard pool that feels open, spacious and perfectly connected to the home’s alfresco entertaining area.

Clean architectural lines, soft natural stone finishes and crisp white fencing create a bright, light-filled setting that complements the home’s modern design. Built-in bench seating on both sides of the pool provides comfortable spaces to relax, while the equipment has been cleverly concealed within the landscaping to maintain the clean aesthetic.

A tiled slot drain along the edge of the alfresco allows
the paving to flow seamlessly from the home to the pool, reinforcing the minimalist design and creating one continuous outdoor living space.
