Capalaba – Custom Concrete Pool on an Acreage Property

Project Overview

Set on a spacious acreage property in Brisbane’s Bayside, this custom-designed pool was created to complement the natural landscape while providing a practical, low-maintenance space for a growing family to enjoy for years to come.

Rather than competing with the surrounding bushland, every element of the design was chosen to blend seamlessly with its environment. The pool is positioned into the natural slope of the site, with rendered retaining walls painted in a soft grey to complement the existing landscape and create a seamless transition between the pool area and the surrounding gardens.

Expansive Silver Travertine surrounds provide plenty of space for entertaining, relaxing in the sun, or watching the kids swim, while the generous 10-metre pool offers ample room for recreation, fitness and family fun.

One of the unique features of this project is the concealed in-ground Hideaway Pool Cover, installed to protect the pool from the significant leaf fall created by the mature trees surrounding the property. When not in use, the cover disappears completely from view, preserving the clean lines of the design while making day-to-day maintenance much easier.

The soft, curved garden beds, natural planting palette and slate-grey aluminium fencing further reinforce the relaxed, natural feel of the property, creating an outdoor space that feels like it has always belonged there.
