New Swimming Pool (Manly)
This project had a very challenging site, with very limited access through a neighbour, so when it came to designing a pool for this space we had a lot of obstacles to overcome. The pool shape was dictated by the location of the sewer pipe which ran across the backyard.
The pool was designed out of the ground due to the fall on the land, and we left a lot of the fill onsite by building a retaining wall and terracing that other side to create a green space for the kids to kick the ball, and to reduce excavation costs.
The tiles all came from the Pool tile Co, and are Cashew Travertine on the coping and surrounds, with an Origami ceramic waterline and Thredbo cladding on the feature wall.
